Ole Smoky Tennessee Distillery is a Gatlinburg, Tennessee distillery that specializes in moonshine and whiskey in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. Known for its unique flavors and Tennessee spirit, they are the leading distiller of premium moonshine in the world and the most visited distillery in the world in 2021.
SHIRT DESIGN PROPOSED CONCEPTS
Ole Smoky puts out seasonal charts of colors, themes, and design requests to collect shirt concepts from designers and suppliers across the U.S. Ole Smoky favors "grunge" style distressing and themes that highlight their unique attributes - such as their varieties of locations, flavors, Tennessee southern roots, and iconic mason jar moonshine. Below is a sampling of designs that vary in shirt and design color palette, seasons and holidays, and design style.
Not pictured: some designs feature the Ole Smoky logo on the front left chest or back center, which is historically a favored design choice for Ole Smoky when there is an illustration-heavy design that doesn't incorporate the OS logo.
PURCHASED SHIRT DESIGN
Ole Smoky was in need of a Valentine's Day shirt design in soft pinks, reds, and/or blues with a 3 -color or 4-color imprint. Ole Smoky's moonshine products come in mason jars that are iconic to the brand, and past motifs of shirts have included items inside of these jars, such as words or images. Thus, an Ole Smoky jar filled up with hearts was sure to be a hit with OS customers. Furthermore, Ole Smoky's target demographic tends to gravitate toward designs including puns.
