ABOUT THE PROJECT
Cascade Spirits is a spirits umbrella company for brands such as Wild Roots, Sun Ranch, Broken Top, Good Tide, and Cascade Street Potato. Cascade Spirits was looking to order shirts for Pride Month in June. They specified wanting a retro or vintage style that included the words "Cascade Spirits" and included a rainbow for Pride. However, because their distillery operates out of Sisters, OR, the company was looking for a shirt concept that fit in with the style of the more conservative part of the state - focusing on the rainbow as a design accent, without feeling extravagant to employees.

SHIRT DESIGN INITIAL PITCHES
Design A: Features the three sisters mountains of Sisters, OR, "Cascade Spirits" in 3D Vintage font, and rectangles decreasing in width - an art concept popular in vintage styles.

Design B: Features brighter rainbow colors while still highlighting the natural aspects of central Oregon. Includes a vintage font with more flourishes on the C and S.

Second Drafts
The Cascades Spirits team took a vote and chose their favorite design. The second round of edits included a shift in direction for the vintage font look as well as a conversion to 6-color print.

After reviewing the new drafts, the Cascade Spirits team wanted to try one other font as well as see how the design would look on some new shirt colors.

Cascade Spirits received a sample of the shirt and didn't care for it. We switched shirt types and shirt color before ending at a final design.
